Lead Carpenter/Project Manager
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and team leadership. This role requires proficiency in various construction management software tools and a deep understanding of the construction process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
As Lead Carpenter, you’ll oversee residential remodeling projects, manage small teams, and ensure high-quality work is completed on time and on budget. You should be hands-on, detail-oriented, and confident managing job sites and working directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and work on remodeling projects including framing, drywall, trim, cabinetry, flooring, and more
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and scope of work
Supervise laborers and subcontractors on-site
Maintain a clean and safe job site
Communicate clearly with clients and team members
Ensure projects meet deadlines and company quality standards
Track materials and manage site logistics
Qualifications:
5+ years experience in residential carpentry (remodeling preferred)
Ability to manage job sites independently
Strong understanding of construction methods and codes
Proficient in using hand and power tools
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
Requirements/ Qualications:
✔ 5+ years of experience in residential carpentry (remodeling preferred)
✔ Proven ability to handle home remodeling projects from start to finish
✔ Ability to manage job sites independently
✔ Strong understanding of construction methods, practices, and building codes
✔ Proficient with hand and power tools
✔ Must own basic tools
✔ Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation required
✔ Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
✔ Excellent communication and organizational skills
✔ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
