About the Role

Hammertime Construction is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in residential or commercial construction, takes pride in their craft, and works efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, trim work, decking, siding, and general construction.

• Accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials (yes—using a measuring tape correctly is essential).

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Communicate effectively with project leads and clients on-site.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of carpentry experience (residential or commercial).

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Must reside in Gloucester, Camden, or Burlington County (or be willing to commute within South Jersey).

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.

• Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and a professional work ethic.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with remodeling, framing, and finishing work.

• Familiarity with power tools and job site safety procedures.

• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently when needed.
